Accident management arrangements if the car is not drivable
If your vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside or at a nearby garage, the recovery agent will take you, your passengers and your vehicle home or to anywhere in the UK mainland destination. This includes recovering your vehicle if you return home by other means.
You may request the recovery agent to provide you with a courtesy car which is free of charge for the first 48 hours.
Accident management arrangements if the car is drivable
Once you have reported the accident to the Accident Management team they will either arrange for a mobile repair unit to come to you at your convenience to repair the car or they will arrange for the car to be booked into a garage for repair. If an estimate is required prior to repair they will arrange a suitable time for a repairer to assess the damage either at your home or at work. Every effort will be made to ensure you are provided with a courtesy car whilst your car is being repaired.
