Internships are fixed-term periods of work experience usually either undertaken by students during holidays alongside academic study or by graduates at any time prior to securing employment post-graduation. Typically, they last between one and three months.
External students as well as University of Cambridge students are welcome to apply for Internships within the University. Internship vacancies will be advertised on the University of Cambridge Careers Service website and externally on sites such as GradsEast.
If you are interested in applying for an internship vacancy that you have seen advertised, please complete the internship application form.
Please note that you must apply to a specific vacancy as we are unable to accept CVs from speculative applicants.
The University's Temporary Employment Service (TES) manages the internship scheme.
TES is located at 25 Trumpington Street, opposite the Fitzwilliam Museum and is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Our e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org and our telephone number is 01223 332348.

We will endeavour to accommodate any particular needs you may have (e.g. childcare responsibilities, religious requirements, disability access requirements, work aids.) Please let us know if you have any requirements when you submit your application.
There is no upper age limit to our internship scheme.
