Mental Health Awareness Week (May 18th - 22nd) is an annual campaign aimed at raising awareness of mental health and inspiring action to promote the message of good mental health for all.  In response to the ongoing worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the theme of the week will focus on the relationship between ‘kindness’ and our mental health.

The University has organised a programme of virtual events and activities for staff and students to participate in. A number of the events require you to book in advance.

Please also see the compiled list of other wellbeing activities and offerings being organised across the wider University that you (and your family) can participate in at your convenience.

It is important, especially during times such as these, to be kind to ourselves by taking care of our health and wellbeing. I hope that the talks and activities in this programme during Mental Health Awareness Week will provide an opportunity for as many of us as possible to spend some time concentrating on just that.
