Prospective staff and visitors to the University often wish to bring their family members with them.  Depending on the type of visa the prospective staff member or visitor holds, it is often possible to secure a visa which will also permit family members to enter and live in the UK.

Each type of visa has different rules and requirements for bringing family members to the UK. The following webpages provide advice and guidance on visas for family members, including details on the application procedures that you must follow:

Points-Based System (PBS) Dependent visa

These are issued to family members of individuals’ holding any points-based visa, for example Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 4 or Tier 5.
