Issued to EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and their family members who had been resident in the UK prior to ‘Brexit’ (31 December 2020).
Confers unrestricted and unlimited right to work in the UK (some Pre-Settled status eVisas may have an end date, but are automatically extended by 5 years to allow the holder to accrue enough residence to apply for Settled status)
No repeat check required for the duration of employment.
