Assignment agreements and handbook

When you have agreed to undertake a particular temporary role through TES, we will issue you with an an Assignment Agreement consisting of a letter containing the details of the particular assignment and the related terms and conditions for each assignment. You will receive these via email to the email address you provide us with. Please return a signed copy of each document to the TES office either via email or through the post or internal mail. Please note that you should also read the TES handbook, which forms part of your Assignment Agreement. The handbook provides details of all general terms and conditions (as amended from time to time) that are applicable when working through TES, including information about:

  • Submitting timesheets to us on a weekly basis;
  • How you will be paid;
  • Temporary worker entitlements (such as pension eligibility, holiday pay, sick pay and maternity pay).

Please ensure that you read your Assignment Agreement and handbook thoroughly and carefully. By signing your Assignment Agreement, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions specified in the agreement and in the handbook.

If you have any questions about your work through TES, please consult your Assignment Agreement and handbook in the first instance.

Employment with the University

If you are seeking longer term work, you are welcome to apply for employment with the University whilst working through TES. Current vacancies are listed on the University's Job Opportunities pages.

Please note: TES temporary workers are not eligible to apply for any vacancies which are specified as 'internal only' (such as internal secondment opportunities) as these are open to University of Cambridge employees only.
