Assignment agreements and handbook
When you have agreed to undertake a particular temporary role through TES, we will issue you with an agreement containing the terms and conditions for your assignment. You will receive two copies of the agreement; please keep one for your records and sign and return the other copy to the TES office. If this is your first assignment, we will also issue you with a card that tells you how to access the TES handbook. The handbook provides details of all general terms and conditions (as amended from time to time) that are applicable when working through TES, including information about:
- Submitting timesheets to us on a weekly basis;
- How you will be paid;
- Temporary worker entitlements (such as pension eligibility, holiday pay, sick pay and maternity pay).
Please ensure that you read your assignment agreement and handbook thoroughly and carefully. By signing your assignment agreement, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions specified in the agreement and in the handbook.

Employment with the University

Please note: TES temporary workers are not eligible to apply for any vacancies which are specified as 'internal only' (such as internal secondment opportunities) as these are open to University of Cambridge employees only.
