Q. I have left TES, how do I access my payslips/P45?

If you left TES within the last 2 months you should still be able to access your payslips and P45 via ESS. If you are unable to log into ESS please contact TES on temps@admin.cam.ac.uk and we will look into this for you.

If you left TES more than 2 months ago please contact TES on temps@admin.cam.ac.uk and we will contact Payroll on your behalf.

Q. I am moving to a contract with the University, how do I get my P45?

If you indicate on your last timesheet that you are moving to a contract with the University then we will let the Payroll team know this. If you are moving directly to your new contract then Payroll will link up your record, this will mean there is no need to issue a P45 or have you return it. If there is a gap of more than a week between your TES work and your new contract then Payroll will issue your P45 on ESS.

NB - if you are moving to a contract with a College then you are moving to a different employer and Payroll will issue your P45.

Q. Are TES able to provide a reference for me?

Because the TES team do not know your work personally we are only able to provide you with a factual reference but we are very happy to do this. Please ask for the reference request to be sent to temps@admin.cam.ac.uk

If you require a more detailed reference of your work then we would suggest asking previous line managers.
