The University is pleased to report that the University Nursery at West Cambridge, run by Childbase Partnership, has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for the second time running and retains its place at the top of national league tables.

The report from the inspection in January is available to view on the Ofsted webpages and an extract of some of the comments are provided below:

Opportunities are currently available for enthusiastic, energetic and responsible 17+ year olds to work at the University's playschemes for children aged 4 to 15. The playschemes operate in February, May and October half terms and Easter and Summer school holidays. No previous experience working with children is necessary, however candidates need to feel confident with initiating exciting play opportunities.

Childcare Voucher Schemes close to new applicants soon due to the introduction of the Government’s new Tax-Free Childcare scheme. Employees who are currently in receipt of Childcare Vouchers are unaffected.
