The Professional Services Recognition Scheme ecognises, highlights and celebrates the very best work across all professional services, irrespective of whether those staff are within a School, department, faculty or non-School institution. The scheme is open to individuals and teams. Anyone may make a nomination.
Awards in 2020 will be made in the following categories, the first four of which reflect the ourcambridge values as established in 2019:
- Collaboration
- Respect
- Integrity
- Trust
- Hot Topic (non-COVID-19 related)
- Unsung hero
- The Vice-Chancellor’s award for exceptional support in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

The last category, the Vice-Chancellor’s award for exceptional support in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, is new this year. It is to recognise individuals or teams that have gone above and beyond to deliver outstanding work in response to the challenges presented to us by COVID.

Further details and full guidance as to how to nominate a team and/or individual can be found on the website. Nominators are free to submit more than one nomination. Please use separate forms for each nomination.
Nominations must be made using the online form linked below, by 5pm on Friday 25 September: https://webservices.admin.cam.ac.uk/ncbk/xher/index.cgi.
After the closing date, the Nominations Review Committee will consider the nominations and agree the awards. All shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the celebratory awards event in December.
