Views are sought on the development of a Mutual Respect Policy (to replace the current Dignity at Work Policy) and a revised Grievance Policy.  These proposed Policies have been prioritised in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and form part of the University's Recovery Plan.

This consultation will be an important opportunity for us to listen to the views of our community on these amended Policies so that we can ensure they are incorporated into their ongoing development.

Please see the consultation page for full details about these Policies, and how to respond online with your comments. If you work in an area of the University that uses a departmental or College email address (e.g. @ast.cam.ac.uk, @christs.cam.ac.uk), please log into the consultation page with your @cam.ac.uk email address to use the response form.

Responses on behalf of Schools and Non-School Institutions are particularly requested, along with the views of groups or individiduals in roles directly connected with managing staff and / or the resolution of inappropriate behaviour, but all staff and workers at the University and in the Colleges are welcome to comment.

The deadline for responses is is 5.30pm on Tuesday 7 June 2022 (extended from 31 May 2022).  Please feel free to target your comments on issues of particular interest or concern to you; there is no need to respond to every question unless you would like to do so.  If you have queries regarding the Policies or the consultation itself, please contact the HR Policy Team at hrpolicy@admin.cam.ac.uk.
