From a Postdoc Appreciation Week LinkedIn video last year, Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for University Community and Engagement, Kamal Munir expressed his gratitude for Postdocs and said: “You’re the Research engine of this University, you sustain the academic eco- system in which we all work and you contribute hugely to our Research output.”
Professor Sir John Aston FRS, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research also said: “I really just wanted to say thank you to all the Postdocs out there for all they bring to the University. Some of the ideas that you bring not only enhance the research here in Cambridge but really influence the fields for years to come.”
