Disabled Staff Network (DSN)

The Disabled Staff Network (DSN) welcomes all individuals who work for the University, a College or an associated institution and consider themselves to be a disabled person. It is responsible for providing support and advice to disabled staff and supporting the University in developing policies and practices that are sensitive to the needs of disabled staff members. The DSN also hosts events, in partnership with the Equality & Diversity section, including the annual International Day for Persons with Disabilities (3 December), that promote awareness and understanding of issues related to disability. The DSN is one of the University's four staff Diversity Networks and, as such, is an integral part of the University's consultation and engagement infrastructure. The DSN has representation on University bodies, including the Consultative Forum, the Equality Assurance Assessment Review Group and the HR Network Group and is represented on the E&D Committee.
