The University is working to increase the frequency, quality and impact of Staff Review and Development (SRD) conversations. As part of this, the SRD guidance on the HR webpages has recently been simplified and streamlined to make it more user friendly for staff and managers. There is no change to the underlying SRD procedure.
Those wishing to increase the uptake of SRD in their institution may find these two new pages on the SRD project Sharepoint pages helpful: Getting the most from SRDs and Supporting the development of others. There is also a session on 18 May organised by the ourcambridge team on Taking ownership of your career development: creating a Personal Development Plan.
