The changes to pension taxation rules on how much an employee can save up to the Annual Allowance (AA) or Lifetime Allowance (LTA) has made membership of a pension scheme potentially unattractive for some employees.

If you believe you may be affected by the Annual Allowance or Lifetime Allowance, you may wish to view the University’s new arrangements for a supplement in lieu of pension. Information about the policy, including FAQ’s can be found here.
