There are a wide range of recreational facilities available to University employees including a large number of eating facilities, sports centres, and attractions such as the University Botanic Gardens, University Museums and the University Library.

University Sports Centre

For information on the amenities available to you, visit the Sport website.  Employees can obtain discounted membership at the state-of-the-art Cambridge Sports Centre situated at West Cambridge.

Local University Attractions

Botanic Gardens

The University Botanic Garden provides for teaching and research. It has an area of about 40 acres, and contains a large collection of plants of international importance.

ADC Theatre

You are entitled to visit the University's seven museums. Each contains widely differing collections. These include:

University Library

All members of the University of Cambridge are welcome to use the Library. For information on what is available to you please refer to the University Library's website.

Entry to Colleges (and Kings College Chapel)

Access to the Colleges and Kings College Chapel can be gained on presentation of your University Card. University staff are permitted to be accompanied by two guests.
