The process for applying and taking SPL initially appears complex. However, when broken down into the key stages (see page below) it is more manageable. The four stages are:
- Becoming aware of a pregnancy or match;
- Choosing SPL and notification of entitlement;
- Applying for SPL;
- Outcome.
